Achievements: 
  • -Designed and implemented the exchange of electronic documents with customers and suppliers using PRO EDI V4.3, MF COBOL and InfoSol GTD. Data transmission was accomplished using AT&T VAN services and hosting FTP directories on a Window Servers 2003 platform.
  • -Part of a team of programmers working on a project to convert legacy COBOL programs and JCL from an obsolete system to run on an IBM x3500 window based server.
  • -Coded and tested with co-workers the integration of a Buhrs picking system with the Magazine Application running on the DPS-7000 mainframe.

Programming

Achievements:

  • -Enhance the Books, Newspapers and Sundries Systems for Y2K compliance. The Online and batch applications written in Cobol-85, IDS-II, TCl and VDAM.
